"Your classroom experience can be the start of a new world and open up career opportunities you didn't even know existed" (86).

In classroom we can meet students and professor from different majors, goals, experiences and background, as a result, we can interact with them, share our vision about the future and what we expect from our career. This semester  I am  taking a class called "critical thinking" where we have been studying how to think and analyze situation in our  lives. I have been learning how to approach certain issue and what is the best way to solve it.  In order to make more intelligent decision in our lives, jobs, schools or  in any area  we must be able  to think critically. It means, in any issue  that we face we have to investigate, search, analyze, get involve and  be creative to  achieve a better solution.

Nowadays, portable skills are very important in any kind of job. Companies need people who can work in any position and help them to achieve their goals. As students we need to start working in developing portables skills such as seeing the big picture, writing, communication, analyzing and negotiation. In order to success in our career we have be able to learn and develop portable skills.

Great Quote:

"Being able to apply yourself to many facets of a job will give you a competitive edge that an employer will find highly desirable and during a job interview will give you the necessary advantage over other candidates. If you have portable skills you are invaluable to your employer as you can develop in many other areas and continue to grow. An employer would rather hire one person to do the job of many".

I have been working as a photographer for couple years and most of the time I interact with people. First, I have to introduce myself and them I have to communicate with guesses, singers, writers, politics and anybody who assists the event. Been create is another portable skill that I have . Many times I need to create the way to take a great pictures ( going outside, using the nature, clothing, ) therefore, my mind plays a big role been photographer. Next, in some cases I have to negotiate with people regarding the cost of pictures. I aim to be flexible with the pay and pictures packages that include my job. In short, I would like to develop this follow skills: writing, analyzing, budget, supervision, mediation and solving problems.

My V.I.P.S

My objective is to start my own business. I have many abilities that have encouraged me to follow this carrier path. I am  majoring  in business with the goal to gain all knowledge  and  enrich my life with  tools that will prepare me to start my own business. I posses  communication skills. I am also a quick thinker, I am able to process ideas in a short period of time. I am a very creative person.
Once I have accomplished my goal of starting my own business I would like to develop some other skills like budget management. I  believe  that being able to have control over your expenses and savings helps you better run a business. I would also be very interested in polishing my interpersonal communication skills. Good communication skills is also a key aspect in business. With the proper communication skills you are able to start your client network. Once you have achieved  these contacts the business starts to succeed and grow.
When you start a business there is a lot to accomplish as there is to lose. The key stands in having the proper tools and vision to direct all goals. I believe that tools and vision together at all times with moral fulfillment will always enable me to run a business that will fulfill it requirements as also abide to all standards. Even though I might not posses a cold business mind, I feel that there are values that should not be trade for money and success such as helping the community,
